Easily generate v4 UUID's (Universally unique identifier) with the help of our tool.
What Are Generator Tools?
Generator tools create something new from your settings: a secure password, a unique ID, a QR code, a dummy text paragraph, a hash of your data. They save you from writing throwaway scripts and guarantee the output follows the right format and rules.
What Can You Generate?
Passwords and secrets — the Password Generator creates strong, random passwords with your choice of length and character sets, and the Password Strength Checker tells you how resistant a password is to guessing attacks. Because generation happens in your browser, your passwords are never transmitted anywhere.
Identifiers — UUID v4 Generator produces universally unique identifiers for database keys, session tokens and API resources. Random Number Generator covers everything from dice rolls to sampling.
Hashes — MD5, SHA-1, SHA-256, SHA-512 and many more. Hashing turns any input into a fixed-length fingerprint. Developers use hashes to verify file integrity, store passwords safely (with salt), and detect duplicate content.
Content — Lorem Ipsum Generator for placeholder text, Signature Generator, Slug Generator for URL-friendly titles, and QR Code Generator for scannable links and contact cards.
Links — UTM Link Generator for campaign tracking, WhatsApp Link Generator for click-to-chat buttons, PayPal Link Generator, and YouTube Timestamp Link Generator.
Security You Can Verify
Randomness matters. Our generators use the Web Crypto API (crypto.getRandomValues) — the browser's cryptographically secure random number generator — not the predictable Math.random(). For passwords and tokens, this is the difference between "looks random" and "actually unpredictable."
Frequently Asked Questions
Are generated passwords stored anywhere?
No. Generation happens entirely in your browser's memory. We never see, transmit, or store your passwords. For maximum safety, generate passwords in a private window on a device you trust.
What is the difference between hashing and encryption?
Hashing is one-way: you cannot turn a hash back into the original data. Encryption is two-way with a key. Use hashing for password storage and integrity checks; use encryption when you need to recover the original data later.
Which hash should I use?
For security purposes, use SHA-256 or stronger. MD5 and SHA-1 are broken for security use (collisions are practical) but still fine for non-security checksums like detecting accidental file corruption.
How long should a password be?
At least 16 characters, randomly generated, unique per site, stored in a password manager. Length beats complexity: a 20-character random password is vastly stronger than an 8-character "complex" one.
